How to Install an Update on a Windows Workstation

These instructions are for a Windows software installation and assume a working knowledge of Windows Administration and graphics workstation setup procedures.

The installation process requires the 'Administrator' password and access to the Internet.

Cyberware maintains a web page with all of the most current version numbers and links to download the software at: http://www.cyberware.com/support/versions.html

It is assumed that the software is installed at the recommended location of 'C:\Program Files\'.

Instructions:

1. Login as Administrator, providing the password as required:

2. Obtain the necessary files from Cyberware.

3. Backup the current versions by copying the files to another directory or using a backup utility.

4. Remove the current installation using the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel. For more detailed information, please refer to the software removal instructions on this web site, or in the CyScan user guide.

5. Double-click the installation program that you acquired from Cyberware. Follow the prompts to install the software. You may also refer to the software installation instructions in the user guide.
