Measure Batch

The Measure Batch provides a convenient method for automatically extracting measurements from the current project. It excels in working with large databases with minimal user intervention.

NOTE:
You must complete the Point Batch Tutorial before you proceed with this section.

Using Measure Batch

The software is now ready to extract measurements from the current project.

  1. Select 'Measure | Batch...'.

    The Measure Batch window will now appear on your screen.

  2. Use the left mouse button and the Shift key to select DBNs 14-24. This action will allow us to use only those selected scans from the listing in the following steps. The other scans will be ignored for time considerations.

  3. Press the Calculate Measurements button to begin the measurement extraction process.

    The DigiSize software will now go through each scan in the current project and automatically extract the measurements.

    When this procedure is complete, you will be presented with a dialog asking to rebuild the measurement statistics.

  4. Press the Yes button to save the newly-acquired measurements into the database.

    The Measure Statistics - Build window will now appear on your screen.

  5. Press the Okay button.

  6. Close the Measure Batch window.
  7. Proceed to the Database Compress tutorial.
