Open Manager

The purpose of Open Manager is to quickly open project scan files. A user will employ this manager in order to work with files, one by one. Once a scan is selected and opened in the Open Manager, a variety of processing tasks become available.

Using the Open Manager

  1. Select 'Database | Open Manager...'.

    The Open Manager window will now appear on your screen.

    The Open Manager will display a list of scan subjects from the current project database and relevant information pertaining to each of the scans. Only those scans that have been classified as good will appear in the Open Manager listing.

  2. Select a scan from the list and the subject information will be displayed at the bottom of the window.

  3. Click the View Subject button and the selected scan will appear in the main display window in quick points viewing mode.

  4. Select View | Smooth Shaded Surface to display the scan as a smoothed polygonal model. Experiment with other View Menu selections to find the viewing mode that you are most comfortable looking at.
