Install the Configuration Files

This sections asks the user to copy the scanner-specific configuration files from the Cyberware installation CD-ROM to the appropriate locations on the user's hard drive.

  1. Open Windows Explorer and look for the scanner setup files in the "Configuration Files" folder on the Cyberware Software CD-ROM.
  2. Copy the scanner configuration file(s) to the "...\Program Files\Cyberware\DigiSize\cfg\" folder:

    3. XX-####-factory.txt >> C:\Program Files\Cyberware\DigiSize\cfg\

  3. Copy the optical table, "optic####.tab," into the "C:\Program Files\Cyberware\DigiSize\corr\" folder:

    4. optic####.tab >> C:\Program Files\Cyberware\DigiSize\corr\

  4. (Optional) Remove the following files from the "...\Cyberware\DigiSize\cfg\" and "...\Cyberware\DigiSize\corr\" directories (if they exist):
  5. Reboot the computer, then continue with the installation in the following steps. You will be presented with a long series of Found New Hardware dialogs. Please be patient as these dialogs appear and disappear:
  6. Continue to setup the ASPI Layer support.
