Load USB Configuration Files
This page will list the steps required to load the Cyberware USB configuration files
into the scanner's EEPROM.
- Navigate to the '...\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScanÏgu\' folder using Windows Explorer.
- Rename any existing files in the '...\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScanÏgu\' folder to prevent an accidental overwrite.
- Copy any files given to you by Cyberware support into the '...\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScanÏgu\' folder.
- For each device that requires a configuration update, follow this procedure:
- Choose Scanner | Select Device...
- Determine which device you wish to modify. An overview of some of the devices is listed here:

- Click on the desired device one time.
- Press the Properties... button.
- Choose the Configure... button. The EEPROM Editor window should now open.
- Click the Clear Cfg button in the EEPROM Editor window.
- Press the Open Cfg... button in the EEPROM Editor window.
- A dialog will open asking to "Open NEW FACTORY configuration USB file." Click the No button.
- Another dialog Will open and ask if you would like to "Open EXISTING SAVED configuration USB file." Click the Yes button.
- A file browswer should now appear on your screen. Navigate to the plain text configuration file,
in the '...\Cyberware\CyScanÏgu\' folder. Select file and click Open.
- In the EEPROM Editor window, press the Accept button.
- Exit CyScan.
