Link USB Devices
This document outlines the procedure to link the scan head, power supply and motion platform. This link is necessary in order for the scanner to function normally. Do not proceed with this procedure if you are unsure of any step or if you are not in direct consultation with a Cyberware technician.
- Assemble the scanner, if necessary,
according to these instructions.
- Power up the scanner. Turn the power off to all but the ONE SCANNER that you wish to relink.
- Turn on the power to the PC.
- Start CyScan (ignore any error messages) by double-clicking CyScan.exe in the '...\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScan\bin\' folder. DO NOT start CyScan from a shortcut or from the Start Menu!
- DO NOT select a scanner.
- Type the following command:
ALT + r
- Type the following command to open the hidden Test menu:
CTRL + SHIFT + t
- Select Setup | Advanced...

This will open the Setup Advanced window.

- Select all of the USB devices in the listing by pressing the Select All button or drag the mouse over all of the items in the list.

- Click the Link and Save button.

At this point, the software will open all of the USB device windows, then close them automatically as they are saved. Be patient, do not attempt to close the windows.
- Click the Close button to close the Setup Advanced window.

- Exit CyScan to enact the changes.
CyScan is now ready for use.
