Link USB Devices

This document outlines the procedure to link the scan head, power supply and motion platform. This link is necessary in order for the scanner to function normally. Do not proceed with this procedure if you are unsure of any step or if you are not in direct consultation with a Cyberware technician.

  1. Assemble the scanner, if necessary, according to these instructions.
  2. Power up the scanner.
  3. Turn on the power to the PC.
  4. Start CyScan (Ignore any error messages) by double-clicking the CyScan icon or by selecting CyScan from the Start Menu.
  5. Choose Scanner | Select Device...

  6. Click the Properties... button.

  8. Select all 5 devices in the listing (drag across all 5 using the LMB or use CTRL + LMB).

  9. Click the Link button.

  10. Answer 'Yes' to "Link 5 devices" popup dialog. If the popup does not say 5 devices, answer No, exit CyScan, then check to see that all of the green USB lights are ON at the power supply and on the scanhead.
  11. Click the Configure... button.

  12. Click Accept on all 5 EEProm Editor dialog boxes.

  13. Exit CyScan to enact the changes.

CyScan is now ready for use.
