Post CAC Instructions

When a scanner is returned to you following a Clean-Align-Calibrate procedure at the factory, the following steps should be taken to get your scanner setup again. These procedures should be completed in the order presented here:

USB-Based Scanners

  1. Link the Devices
  2. Set the Home Position
  3. Zero the Scanner
  4. Send Sample Data to Cyberware Support
    • Whole Body Scanners:
      1. Empty Scan
      2. Scan of a Calibration Cylinder (With Color)
      3. Scan of a Human Subject (With Color)
    • Head & Face Scanners:
      1. Scan of a Calibration Cylinder (With Color)
      2. Scan of a Human Subject (With Color)

 

SCSI-Based Scanners

  1. Load the New Configuration Files
  2. Set the Home Position
  3. Zero the Scanner
  4. Send Sample Data to Cyberware Support
    • Whole Body Scanners:
      1. Empty Scan
      2. Scan of a Calibration Cylinder (With Color)
      3. Scan of a Human Subject (With Color)
      4. Copy of the Scanner's Configuration Files
    • Head & Face Scanners:
      1. Scan of a Calibration Cylinder (With Color)
      2. Scan of a Human Subject (With Color)
      3. Copy of the Scanner's Configuration Files
