WBX Enclosure Assembly

This section explains the techniques for setting up the protective enclosure that surrounds a Cyberware Whole Body X Color 3D Digitizer.

For a Whole Body Color X 3D Scanner (Model WBX), you must complete the software installation procedure for USB-based scanners before continuing.

WARNING:

Many of the parts are very heavy and very sensitive; care and proper equipment should be used to put them in place. Many of the parts contain either carefully aligned or sensitive electronic assemblies. Take extreme caution not to damage or jar the systems. It is required that, at least, 4 able-bodied persons are available to assemble this platform effectively.

Always lift carefully using proper lifting techniques. Improper lifting without qualified help may result in serious injury.

Cyberware recommends that you keep ALL of the shipping boxes and packing materials that came with the scanner. These are useful if you should wish to move the system or store the system for an extended period of time.

Required Tools

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the power supply AC cord from the surge protector.
  2. Manually raise arm 0&1 and arm 2&3 so that they are out of the way and will not become an obstruction during the remaining assembly steps.
  3. Place the (2) two platform halves over the main truss. Ensure that platform 0/1 is parallel to the platform legs.
