Verify the Installation
- Turn on the scanner at the main power supply.
- If this is a SCSI-based scanner, turn on the SCSI interface.
- Reboot the PC.
- Login to the PC. Windows should recognize the new hardware.
- Continue to install the drivers for a USB-based scanner.
- Continue to install the drivers for a SCSI-based scanner.
- Launch the scanning software by double-clicking the CyScan icon. You should see a window similar to the one below:

If you do not see a scanner listed in the grey area between the buttons (at the bottom of the CyScan window), such as
"WB (SCSI) #9999" or "PS (SCSI) #9999", select a scanner:
- Choose 'Scanner | Select Device...'.

- Click on the scanner that you would like to use as the default (even if no scanner exists). For the purposes of this document, we will
choose the PX (USB) #VIRTUAL configuration.

- Press the Accept button.
CyScan is now ready for use.
