On Windows 7 Cyberware scanners have new WinUSB driver software that needs to be installed manually. Power on the scanner and follow these steps.
You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps. At any time if you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
You will now see the Device Manager window.

You will now see the Browse for driver software on your computer window.

Windows 7 32-bit:
C:\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScan\driver\WinUSB
Windows 7 64-bit:
C:\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScan\driver\WinUSBamd64
You should now see that the operating system is installing the appropriate driver.

If a Windows Security window pops up, select Install this driver sofware anyway.

Cyberware scanners are composed of multiple USB devices. There are, at least, three (3) drivers that must be installed for most scanners; a range camera driver, a texture camera driver and a motion system driver. The first scanner USB driver software has been installed. To automatically install the other scanner USB devices
The Cyberware scanner is now ready to use.
To verify the USB driver installation, go back to the Device Manager window. There will now be a hardware category entry with the name: Cyberware 3d Scanner Component. Within that entry are entries of each USB device for that scanner. The device entries will vary depending on scanner model and features.
