Generate Unlocking Codes

This document outlines the steps necessary to generate a temporary unlocking key for the software. These instructions are for Windows-based scanners and assume a working knowledge of Windows and general workstation setup procedures.

  1. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the CyScan "lib\" folder, ...\Cyberware\CyScan\lib\.

  2. Create a new text document by selecting File | New | Text Document.

  3. Name the file keys.txt.

  4. Double-click the CyScan icon (on the desktop or in the 'Start | All Programs | CyScan | CyScan') to launch the software. This will return a windows similar to the one below:

  5. Click on the Cyberware License Key Check window, then type CTRL + c to copy the contents of the window to the clipboard.
  6. Paste the codes into an e-mail to Cyberware Support.
  7. Proceed to activate the license.
