ASPI Layer Installation

In this section of the installation procedure, you will install the ASPI layer support files. These files are used internally by the CyScan software and are required for proper operation of the software.

  1. Use a file search utility to look for "wnaspi32.dll". If this file exists on your computer, continue to install the headus tools (if purchased separately), or to the software licensing instructions.
    2. IMPORTANT:
    If you have more than one (1) copy of wnaspi32.dll on your computer, the CyScan software will not function correctly.
  2. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the '...\Program Files\Cyberware\CyScan\bin\' folder.

  3. Double-click the "aspiinst.exe" file.

    4. A small window will now appear on your monitor.

  4. Press the Install button.
  5. When the installer finishes, you should see a dialog like the following:

    Press the OK button to continue.

  6. When you see the following window, please press the Reboot button to finalize the ASPI installation.

  7. After rebooting, Continue to install the headus tools.
