Organization of the User Interface
The software is organized into four major parts within the main window: The Menu Bar, the Display window, the Setup Buttons and the Scan Buttons.
Across the top row of the Main Window you will notice the File, Edit, View, Scanner, Options, and Help menu selections. These selections allow the user access to the most commonly used commands and functions.
The entire middle section is dedicated to displaying the data that has been acquired by the digitizer.
The next section contains the buttons used to establish the scanning parameters, such as scan type, the width and pitch of the scan, and the surface qualities of the object to be scanned.
The bottom row of buttons gives the user a simple manner in which to execute the most-used commands. The Scan button initiates the scanning process. The Scan Stop button will end the process of data acquisition, and the Exit button will quit the application.
